We Make Movies NYC's monthly Lab Mixtape samples all three of their signature labs in one afternoon — Writers, Performance, and Rough Cut. They host staged readings of original scripts, showcase polished off-book performances, and screen shorts or segments of works-in-progress, with curated audience feedback after each to help the artists level up. No RSVP needed if you just want to watch and give feedback. To take part: - **Writers** — submit a script to be read at wemakemovies.org/nyc - **Actors** — sign up to read a role, or share an off-book performance - **Filmmakers** — submit a rough cut for a test screening Sunday, June 28, 4–6:30pm at Houghton Hall (Jefferson Room), 22 E 30th St.
